I believe being creative and caring for our mental well being is courageous.

As an artist, teacher and licensed mental health therapist I provide creative, mindful activities to make life a little brighter!

I am an artist, educator, certified life coach and trained mental health therapist with over 20 years experience. I have a BFA in studio art and art education. I am a licensed art educator. I hold a Masters Degree in Education and in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of AZ.

I know that being creative and mindful can transform our lives—mind, body, and soul.

I live in Tucson, AZ with my beagle mix Colby. I love beagles, spending time in nature, teaching, helping others and being creative.

Navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. My goal as your therapist is to provide a supportive, safe, collaborative space where you can fully express yourself, nurture your strengths and develop skills to grow and heal. I provide a space filled with empathy, caring, calm and gentleness.

     To meet your unique needs, we will work together to find solutions, create achievable goals, discover strengths, reshape unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and learn skills to support emotion regulation and stress management. To achieve this I use art therapy, mindfulness, solution focused, and dialectical behavior (DBT) therapies.

     I have worked with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic illness, life transitions, career changes, ADHD, PTSD, and in recovery.
